NOW
Alison joined Wessex Partnerships in 2002 and leads for the team
on funding research. She has been successful in sourcing a range
of both domestic and European funding options for schools,
colleges, universities, local authorities and voluntary
organisations. Consolidating her previous bid writing success,
Alison has worked with a range of clients to develop project ideas
and prepare successful funding applications for submission to ESF
co-financing organisations, the National Lottery and a variety of
charitable trusts.
THEN
Alison has approximately 10 years experience of externally-funded,
project-based work, with particular knowledge of the rigours of
the European Social Fund. In 1996 Alison was appointed European
Funding Officer at Hampshire Training and Enterprise Council with
responsibility for providing early intelligence of appropriate
funding opportunities, developing project ideas, bid writing and
project management. Her bid writing experience included successful
applications to the ESF Objective 3 programme, Konver, Horizon and
Adapt.
