Wessex Partnerships launches new Business Grants Service
Wessex Partnerships is pleased to announce an exciting new collaboration with the Effective Business Group to help support the growth aspirations of EBG’s member companies.
With its expertise in sourcing and accessing grant funding to develop solutions to business and social problems, Wessex Partnerships is ideally placed to provide regular information on breaking funding news and provide grant advice for SMEs.
EBG’s membership is significant, with around 70,000 SMEs UK-wide in sectors covering engineering, manufacturing, research and development, transport and logistics and business services.
WP has worked within a variety of industry sectors and its client base also includes a range of publicly funded agencies, local authorities, education institutions and private companies
Robert Bentley said, “It’s our positioning between the public and private sector that enables us to understand and interpret the needs and language of both. Combined with our specialist expertise in accessing grants for business growth, research and development and leadership and workforce skills, there’s a lot we can offer EBG’s membership.”
Steve Woods, CEO of EBG said “We have been impressed with what we’ve seen to date from Wessex Partnerships. It is a service that we do not offer our members ourselves and we’re delighted that WP can offer this specialist expertise”.
Already around 600 companies in the South East have read the grant alert information sent out in the regional narrowcasts, with 28 requests to date for further advice.
WPL is a recognised expert in identifying and securing public funding for social and economic projects and helping to manage those projects. The company has provided consulting and advisory services (on a range of UK and European sources) to its clients to write successful bids and gain additional funding to enhance or extend vital service provision.
