Funding for Innovative Vocational Education and Training Projects
Organisations involved in Vocational Education and Training (VET) have until the 2nd February 2012 to apply for funding through the Transfer of Innovation strand of the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme.
The Leonardo da Vinci programme is one of the four programmes that make up the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme and is designed to build a skilled workforce through European partnerships. Through the Transfer of Innovation strand grants of up to €150,000 are available to improve the quality and attractiveness of the European VET system by adapting and integrating innovative content or results from previous Leonardo Projects, or from other innovative projects. Projects focus on customising training materials for the needs of learners and businesses in the partner countries.
Although any organisation involved in VET can apply for a Leonardo TOI project, proposals led by or including the following organisations are particularly encouraged:
• Voluntary and community organizations
• Employers (especially SMEs)
• Trade unions and other professional bodies.
To be eligible, applications must consist of a partnership of at least three eligible countries
