Educational Endowment Fund (England)
Schools and teachers as well as local authorities and charities can apply for funding to support projects that improve the performance of poor pupils in the country's most challenging schools.
It is hoped that these projects, which will all be rigorously evaluated, will create a lasting educational legacy for 100,000s of disadvantaged children.
Ideally, projects would cover more than one school and the minimum grant will be £50,000.
Applications will be reviewed at three points in the year. These are:
- 3rd October 2011
- 2nd December 2011
- 30th March 2012
