Call for Proposals – Two Seas Cross-border Cooperation Programme

The Partners that manage the Interreg IVa “Two Seas” programme have announced that the 5th call for proposals is currently open for applications. The Interreg IVa Two Seas programme is one of the EU’s Territorial Co-operation programmes that encourages regions and cities from different EU Member States to work together and learn from each other through joint programmes, projects and networks. The area covered by the Two Seas programme stretches from Cornwall to Norfolk and encompasses Nord-Pas de Calais in France and the coastal regions of the Netherlands and West Flanders in Belgium. The programme which will run from 2007 – 2013 has a budget of €167 million and will support projects that focus on the following priorities:

To be eligible for funding projects must involve at least 2 transnational partners from with the Two Seas region. Organisations involved in Two Seas funded projects can include regional / local authorities, not for profit organisations and micro, small and medium sized businesses.

The closing date for applications is the 9th December 2009.
