The Youth of Today's Reaching Out Programme
The Youth of Today offers help to young people to make a positive difference to society. It is funded and supported by the Department of Children, Schools and Families and Communities and Local Government. The Youth of Today has announced that their Reaching Out programme will be open to applications at the end of September. Reaching Out supports established organisations with a proven track record of success and offers grants of between £50,000 and £100,000. The aim of the programme is to:
- focus on social inclusion and promoting leadership
- raise the quality of youth leadership opportunities
- create more opportunities for young people to influence the decisions affecting them
- extend the organisation's reach to new groups in new areas.
